AZERBAIJANI LEADER ATTENDS MIDDLE EAST SUMMIT IN EGYPT

BAKU – The President of Azerbaijan has traveled to Egypt for a high-level regional summit taking place in the coastal city of Sharm El Sheikh.

The visit came following invitations from the leaders of the United States and Egypt. Upon arrival at the international airport, the Azerbaijani head of state was formally welcomed by Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, along with a delegation of senior officials.

The summit is focused on key Middle Eastern affairs and has drawn participation from a number of international leaders. Reports indicate that invitations to the gathering were extended to several nations, including Armenia.
