YEREVAN – A key technology conference opened in the Armenian capital this week, bringing together engineers, entrepreneurs, and international partners to showcase the country’s growing role in the global tech sector.

The three-day event, which will also include sessions in Vanadzor, highlights Armenia’s latest engineering achievements and fosters collaboration between local specialists and international experts. Panel discussions are focusing on critical technological and innovative topics, with participation from industry professionals, researchers, and students.

A senior parliamentary official emphasized the importance of the engineering community in advancing both economic development and regional peace. “The environment here allows practical work and engineering to truly flourish,” the official stated, addressing attendees. “The seeds you plant are in reliable hands.”

He also connected technological progress with stability in the region, noting that talented individuals—engineers, scientists, and students—are key to overcoming contemporary challenges. “Whether in times of peace or conflict, it is people who drive solutions forward,” he added.

The event included a tour of a high-tech accelerator facility, where participants examined new infrastructure and project incubators. The forum is expected to strengthen partnerships between the government, private sector, and international allies, reinforcing Armenia’s position as an emerging hub for engineering and innovation.
