Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held talks in Strasbourg with representatives from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s Monitoring Committee. The discussions centered on Armenia’s ongoing cooperation with the Council of Europe and efforts to advance democratic reforms.
During the meeting, Pashinyan emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, protecting human rights, and implementing judicial reforms. He also expressed appreciation for the Council of Europe’s support in advancing Armenia’s reform agenda.
The Council of Europe officials acknowledged the progress made by Armenia and voiced confidence in the country’s continued efforts to meet its international obligations. They also reaffirmed the Monitoring Committee’s readiness to maintain close cooperation with Armenian authorities.
