ARMENIAN LAWMAKER TO ATTEND COUNCIL OF EUROPE ENVIRONMENTAL MEETING IN TURKEY

Member of Parliament Armen Gevorgyan will travel to Gaziantep, Turkey in early October to participate in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s session on environmental health. The meetings, scheduled for October 8-11, will focus on social, health and sustainable development policies.

The visit comes as part of Armenia’s ongoing engagement with European parliamentary bodies. Gevorgyan’s participation in the Network of Healthy Environmental Assembly represents continued cooperation on regional environmental initiatives through the Council of Europe framework.

The gathering will bring together parliamentarians from member states to address pressing environmental challenges and coordinate policy approaches across European nations.
